Stumbled on his original Game Boy that he played a lot on. It had Pokemon Blue in it. I thought, “Why the hell not?” and started up. Continued from my dad’s old save, I checked out his items and then his Pokemon.

His team was terrible, a Zubat, a Raticate, a Beedrill…

But his Blastoise…

His Blastoise was nicknamed after me.
